The Social Administration is responsible for providing support, care, and assistance to people at various stages of life. We work based on individual needs and offer services based on several laws, including the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS), and the Health and Medical Services Act.

This may involve providing the elderly with a safe and meaningful everyday life, supporting individuals with disabilities, or being there for children, youth, and adults in vulnerable life situations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to combine pedagogy and care to support people towards a more independent life? As a support pedagogue, you are a key person in developing services for individuals with functional variations or mental health issues. We are now looking for someone who wants to contribute to our future structure, engagement, and knowledge while making a real difference.

As a support pedagogue, you work closely with the individual and with the quality development of the operations. You support colleagues in pedagogical work, follow up on services, and contribute to raising the quality of daily support.

Your role includes, among other things:

• Designing, following up, and documenting implementation plans
• Working pedagogically with the individual based on their individual needs
• Being a support for colleagues in methods and approaches
• Contributing to systematic quality work and development in the operations
• Collaborating with relatives, colleagues, and other professional actors
• Carrying out care interventions based on the user's needs
• Performing delegated health and medical care interventions, such as medication and insulin, after delegation from a nurse.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a secure and responsible person who wants to contribute to a meaningful everyday life for others. You have a pedagogical perspective and the ability to coach both users and colleagues.

We also see that you have:

• Higher vocational education as a support pedagogue or other post-secondary education of at least 200 YH points in the field of disabilities
• Experience with AAC/alternative communication
• Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• Driving license (B)

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience of working within LSS or similar operations
• Worked in operational systems such as LifeCare, TimeCare, or Appva
